Cotton – From Seed to Seed

One day, I had the idea of planting cotton. What other more interested plant could there be? Cotton could be used as a flower in a bouquet, harvested for the cotton and definitely could be sold online as seeds. Amazing, so I got started and went on carousell to look for some seeds. Luck was on my side and I managed to find some seeds available.

Here is the cotton seedling

The plant continues to grow

And the plant is tall now

It starts to flower, which lasts for about 3 days.

The fruit starts to develop and grow bigger

They then ripen

And continue to crack open

And then it is time to harvest

Maybe the bolls can fetch $2 each or something. In anyway, I hope this is informative and can inspire you to grow some cotton too. Cotton is not difficult to grow, but can take a few tries. On my first try I got 0% germination, on my second try I got 20% germination and on my third try I got about 90% germination.
