On the newsletter that I subscribed, Steve wrote about starting to plan for my next year’s resolution. Here’s the link to his pretty awesome content: https://alifeengineered.substack.com/p/start-your-new-years-resolutions-5c8
I am the type of person who would plan ahead so it resonates with me and I will start to plan for next year. After all, what is the chance that my life will end next year and the planning will go to waste.
Career is a huge part of my life. I hope to be in a project technical leader role, this would mean that I will be person managing the engineering activities with internal functions and customers. This is kind of my non-professional personal space so I would not want to elaborate too much here.
Business is something new that I want to focus in the coming year. Not that it has to generate an impressive income, but I hope to work on something of my own and learn to develop my own brand. Nothing is too clear at this point in time, so I get a few months head start to mentally work it through.
Third and not the least, I want to maintain and improve my health. As I get older, it is not as easy to keep my body in a healthy form to focus on my life. After an occasional decent night out, I feel the toll and inertia to stay sharp. This is not a good sign. In 2025, I am hoping to be intentional about keeping a regular workout habit and to slightly reduce my weight. Ideally 60kgs or below.
That is it, hopefully I have inspired you to do a wrap up on this year and keep the focus on what is ahead. Don’t wait, start now.
